Peppers + Violas
I like the way the violas peek out from under the peppers. And the peppers give them a little shade that they'll enjoy when things heat up this summer. Plus, since I put the peppers right next to the sliding glass door, the violas brighten up the view a bit.

Hi Erin
ReplyDeleteNice idea. What kind of peppers are you growing this year? I've got a couple of Garden Salsa peppers getting ready to set flower. Your garden is really coming along well this spring.
Hi Erin i found your blog a couple of days ago. This morning I drank my coffees and read your blog.I was interested in finding a blog about balconies because i think people don't take advantage of them.Yours inspires me..because if you can do what you do in your space so can I.It's wonderful and i will be following you this summer myself.I just wanted you to know I LOVE your pictures and your adventures in gardening!!Your new follower and balcony gardener,Tanya
ReplyDeleteI have a Garden Salsa, too! And 2 Sweet Reds, 2 Sweet Yellows, and an Anaheim. Mine are putting out a lot of flower buds, too! I hope I get a decent crop this year.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tanya! I'm glad you enjoyed it :D
I agree with Tanya that it is such a pity to see all those empty balconies in our towns. If only people knew how rewarding it is to grow even just a few plants... little green fellows that patiently wait for you there each day...
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad I stumbled upon your blog! I have a ground floor 'patio' in my condo and it was great to see your ideas for different containers and arrangements in a limited space!
